Based on 27 reviews Had a great day out, got the experience we were hoping for and more Owenion Tom did a fantastic job achieving the impossible; training me for the mountains without there being any mountains for me to train on! My goal was to be fit enough to keep up with experienced hunters on a trip of a lifetime to Fiordland NZ to hunt Wapiti deer. I live and work in London so we developed a tailored plan making use of the gym and also just body weight at home. He tracked my progress closely and we definitely got the result I was hoping for. I’m continuing with some aspects of the program now on my own, post big event (eg I never ran before, now I run) so it has been literally life changing. Highly recommend. Mike Mueller Great fitness training program for outdoor endurance. Tom put a lot of thought into the training program and was flexible about my needs and goals. He has a good understanding of both the fitness needs for big days in the mountains plus how to train and prepare for them. Tom Lightowler Tom is a fantastic and patient instructor. He is so knowledgeable and explains things very clearly. He is a great teacher for any level climbers. Would highly recommend. K T Fantastic day out Tom is amazing too and we're already organising the next one! Andrew Robertson I was fortunate enough to share a day on the mountain with Tom recently, alongside his bespoke strength and conditioning service with Adventure Fitness Consultants. The level of service is genuinely unparalleled to what I’ve experienced elsewhere. Having had extensive previous instruction in the mountains, in both civilian and military spheres, Tom stands head and shoulders above the rest. His relaxed yet informative guiding style made for a fantastic mountain day, covering all things scrambling and ropework. The only thing he couldn’t offer was dry weather! Anyone who is looking to take their mountaineering to the next level, be it physically or technically, look no further than Tom & Adventure Fitness Consultants. This is an investment you will not regret making. Already looking forward to the next mountain day. A Google User Tom is a brilliant coach. I took this services to go to Everest Base camp. I was only hiking for 10 or 15 km on weekend. But post taking the workout routine from Tom, I could improve my distance and altitude quite significantly. I took 60 km on a day with altitude of 900M quite comfortably. During my EBC trek, I could realize how each workouts Tom helped me with the burn in each of my muscle. Tom can be trusted. 100% Sathya Subramanian Sam is really professional and polite. He takes the time and effort to get to the root of the problem and give you a diagnosis. I've had very successful outcomes from his treatment. I keep him on speed dial so I can keep doing the sport I love. I would and do often recommend him to my climbing friends... after all, he's a climber himself! So you can get a physio that gets you and understands the nuances of climbing injuries. Top guy! Been seeing him for years, Phil Phil Core After suffering shoulder injury that was potentially going to put my career on hold, I sought out Sam who I had heard had the knowledge and experience with the type of injury i had giving me confidence in his ability to assist my recovery. Friendly and approachable, Sam would happily answer my questions or address my concerns even outside of appointments. Reasonable expectations and time scales for rehab and recovery, and a wide array of exercises it’s 4 months later and I’m due to return back to my role with the knowledge of how to continue looking after my injury. One of the best physios I’ve seen! 10/10 would recommend. Marie Hooker
