Mountain Guiding & Skills Courses
Expert-led mountain days in the UK and beyond – tailored to your level
Every mountain day at Peaks & Performance is built around you. Whether you’re taking your first steps on the hill or working towards advanced winter mountaineering, our AMI-qualified instructors tailor each course to your goals, your ability and the conditions on the day.
We offer guided climbing, scrambling, and winter mountaineering across the Lake District, Snowdonia and Scottish Highlands. Technical climbing gear (ropes, harnesses, protection) is provided for summer courses. For winter courses, you’ll need your own ice axes, crampons and winter equipment, though we can advise on local hire options. Mountain boots and climbing shoes are not provided. Once booked, you’ll receive a full kit list and itinerary so you know exactly what to expect.
